Sangeetha Swara Laya Music Academy has been established to develop and design state-of-the-art course-ware in Indian Music by making use of the latest technology based teaching methods buckled with innovation of highest degree. The mission of the SSL is to teach, perform and preserve the classical music of Indians, specifically the Mirdhangam, Tabla, Veena and Sangeetham to all who wish to learn.

Students learn to play the classical music on the instrument of their choice, Indian or non-Indian. Cross training in raga (melody) and tala (percussion) are encouraged, though typically the student will specialize in either raga or tala.
SSL will be functioning with the same dedication and inspiration to the lovers of Classical Carnatic Music. It has over 500 students at various levels of competency. All the students are under the direct supervision of Mr. S.Hariharan who believes in imparting quality music education to his students. SSL offers courses in South Indian Classical Carnatic:- Keyboard, Veena, Mirdhangam, Tabla and Sangeetham.
The students are categorized under three levels of learning:
- Beginner's Level
- Junior or Intermediate level
- Senior or Advanced level
SSL has formalized Syllabus for the three levels.
The students would be awarded Certificates after successful completion of each course.
Formal Vocal and Veena training in South Indian Carnatic Music starts from ages six years onward.
We prepare students for Solo Concerts, Group songs, Musical ensemble &
Orchestras. We also encourage and prepare students to participate in Music festivals
arranged by musical and religious organizations. Adding to it, we also do presentations in big scale musical productions involving students and local musicians.
PS : All our newly registered SSL students normally are coached and guided to perform on stage within a year.
